Chrissy Dickens

Psychological Therapist/ Founder

Chrissy is a qualified Psychological Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Consultant, Trainer and unofficial wellbeing champion! Chrissy is passionate about learning and helping others.

With over 20 years’ experience of working with people, Chrissy is dedicated to getting to know people, being curious, understanding their perspective and helping them to grow as individuals or as teams.

Throughout her career, Chrissy has had the privilege of supporting people in person and professional growth whilst changing the lives of others through the consultation and training that she offers.

Chrissy has been offering psychological consultation on all aspects of emotional and mental health since 2006 including to the NHS, schools, Social Services and other teams or organisations. She takes a collaborative approach to consultation, ensuring that she understands the working environment so that the understanding developed or ideas or strategies generated are realistic, helpful and empowering for individuals and teams.

Chrissy is proud to be a Clinical Supervisor to the NHS and a Trauma-Informed Schools UK Supervisor. She is passionate about ensuring that practitioners and school staff have access to supervision, consultation and support to enable them to take care of themselves and support them in remaining connected to the children and young people who’s lives they touch.

Chrissy has a love of knowledge and has been delivering training (through workshops, courses
and seminars) to others since 2010 on a huge breadth of topics including trauma, attachment difficulties, mental health, open adoption, psychological consultation, staff wellbeing and work-
based stress.

Outside of work, Chrissy loves staying active, listening to music, reading, being in nature and
connecting with friends and family. She is also committed and excited about learning and
squeezes this into her daily life.

Dr Sara Evans

Trainer


Dr Sara Evans is a HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Registered Practitioner Psychologist having qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2008 from the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at Lancaster University.

She has over 17 years of clinical experience having worked in a variety of roles within NHS services, predominantly with children and families.

She has additional post-graduate qualifications in parenting work and led the development of a parenting service for hard-to-reach families.

Throughout Sara’s career, she has worked in different modalities to address mental health difficulties, promote wellbeing and bring about change, including one-to-one therapeutic work drawing on a range of models, family work, and group work.

Working in partnership with professionals, schools and other agencies has also been a constant in Sara’s work and she has experience in offering consultation, delivering training and providing supervision.
The ethos at the heart of Sara’s work is that powerful things happen when people are provided with time and a protected space in which to think together and are supported to find ways forward with renewed confidence.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys getting out and about with her sausage dog and spending time with friends and family.
