Coping with uncertainty in everyday situations (CUES)

Research and our experience suggests that anxiety is a difficulty for around 50% of children with Autistic Spectrum Condition. Childhood anxiety is also a significant risk factor for anxiety in adulthood. Intolerance of Uncertainty has also been found to be prevalent for those who are on the spectrum and many people might avoid it because of the distress that it causes them. We are here to help because there is now an intervention that specifically targets this anxiety of uncertainty to help children with Autistic Spectrum Condition cope more effectively with uncertain situations.

CUES is designed to be delivered to parents of children and young people in a small group setting. Over the course of 8 sessions (2 hours each), parents will learn to
